Our UK & Ireland team is experiencing unprecedented growth. To fuel this growth even further we're on the lookout for a Brand Manager to grow our brand awareness in the UK.


For the marketing team, we are looking for a:


BRAND MANAGER


As Brand Manager, you’ll make a major contribution to growing the brand awareness of HG in the UK. With a strong brand funnel, the opportunities are unlimited. You will be working in close relationship with our media agency and creative agency to find the best possibilities to communicate the best message at the right time and place. From a global perspective you will also be responsible for innovation and renovation projects for our international portfolio.

In this role you will be working from the UK office combined with a one visit a month to our headquarters in the Netherlands. It is therefore crucial that you can work independently and and dare to take your own opportunities, so that we can continue to offer the best solutions with the HG range.


In this position, you will report to Frédérique Hanselaar (Brand Marketing Manager).


Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the brand awareness growth of HG in UK/Ireland/export through communication and activation
  • Working closely together with media agency to get the best out of our campaign assets
  • Project management for innovation and renovation projects in various countries; elaboration of new product concepts, point of contact for the business case, coordination with all disciplines such as Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance and Operations, launching with communication and activation plan, monitoring progress against plans and adjusting where necessary, preparing progress reports and analyses.
  • Managing, maintaining and optimizing the HG assortment while being the point of contact for packaging design/redesign for internal and external parties;
  • The link with all key stakeholders such as country teams, consumer service, sales, trade marketing and marketing;
  • Gathering and compiling relevant data regarding consumer competitor insights and trends as input for portfolio strategy optimization
  • Supporting and rolling out brand activation plans through media and shopper communications for both local and global launches.

Job requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years product/brand/marketing experience for A-brand;
  • Familiarity with the intricacies of brand marketing and experience to collaborate with media agencies;
  • An academic level of thinking with a commercial and proactive mindset;
  • A strong can-do mentality, hands-on, pragmatic; enjoys learning by doing;
  • A proven track record in leading brand marketing projects.
