Customer Service Employee (German Market)

In this role, you are responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of customer orders from start to finish. You ensure that every order is processed correctly, customer information is up to date and questions are handled in a timely and professional way.

Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, delivery reliability and the commercial performance of HG. At the same time, you actively contribute to improving processes and increasing efficiency within customer service.

You will be part of the Customer Service team based in Almere (hybrid working environment). In this position, you work closely with colleagues in sales, supply chain and finance to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What you will do

In this role you will:

• Process customer orders accurately and on time

• Ensure smooth end-to-end order handling

• Maintain and update customer data in relevant systems

• Support German B2B customers with questions, requests and follow-up

• Identify opportunities to improve order processing and service quality

• Prepare reports and document order-related information

• Work with order management systems and MS Excel

Job requirements:

To be successful in this role, you bring a combination of experience, accuracy and a proactive mindset:

• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written

• Available fulltime

• Several years of experience in B2B customer service

• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working

• A proactive approach and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Is curious, proactive and comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of output

• Comfortable working with order management systems and MS Excel

• A genuine interest in understanding customer needs and delivering excellent service

  A valid EU work permit or EU citizenship is required for this position.

• A gross monthly salary between €2,600 and €3,600

• An on-target bonus of 7.5% of your annual salary
