Supply Planner

About the role
HG is looking for a Supply Planner to strengthen our Supply Chain team in Almere. In this role, you are responsible for planning and coordinating supply with our external manufacturing partners, ensuring product availability while balancing service levels, inventory, and costs. You play a key role in keeping our supply chain stable and reliable in a dynamic FMCG environment and act as a key user for supply chain planning systems and tools.

You work at the intersection of operations and planning, with a focus on mid- and long-term supply plans. On a daily basis, you collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing partners. Besides running the planning cycle, you actively identify risks, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and ways of working within the supply chain.

What you will do

• Responsible for operational and tactical planning of co-manufacturers based on demand plan and pre-aligned capacity

• Coordinate supply with external manufacturing partners to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels and proactively balance service levels, stock, and working capital.

• Identify supply risks, bottlenecks, and deviations, and take timely corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as project lead or contributor on supply chain improvement initiatives, focusing on stability, efficiency, and scalability of the supply chain.

• Act as key user for supply chain planning tools and systems, supporting improvements, testing changes, and guiding colleagues in effective use.

• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to ensure end-to-end alignment.

• Support supply-related projects such as network changes, new product introductions, and seasonal or promotional planning.

• Provide clear insights and planning input to stakeholders and management, based on data and analysis.

Job requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or a similar supply chain role, preferably in an FMCG environment.

• Experience working with external manufacturing partners and complex supply networks.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear plans and actions.

• Experience with planning tools and ERP systems, including experience as a key user; knowledge of Slimstock and Microsoft F&SCM is a strong plus.

• Proven ability to manage improvement initiatives or projects within the supply chain.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to operate across functions and levels.

• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Fluent in Dutch and professionally proficient in English.
